I'm Jason Burley, owner of Camden Lock Books

Originally, in 1979, Francis Edwards Ltd. employed me as a trainee bookdealer in my first bookselling role. I have continuously owned my own independent bookshop since 1984.

The Provincial Bookseller's Fairs Association elected me as chairman of the London region for five consecutive years.

As co-owner of Burley Fisher Books since 2016, I am currently involved in our Haggerston bookshop, and our second bookshop at Ibraaz in Central London.

I specialise - online and by appointment - in miniature books that are uncommon, in demand, and may be hard to find anywhere else.

Where can I find others interested in collecting miniature books?

If you have a passion for miniature book collecting, this society and this website are perfect for you!

In the UK, miniature books measure no more than 10 centimeters high or wide. A book exceeding 10 centimeters in its longest dimension is not a miniature book but could be a near-miniature.

Only a handful of antiquarian bookdealers specialise in miniature books. But there are a large number of collectors spanning the entire world.

Many thanks for the 'Timeless Treasure' book which arrived safely. I find it a fascinating addition to my miniature book library resource, especially as I am in the process of designing a miniature library to house my smallest books. I have admired so many bookcases, but perhaps the most impressive is that of Guus Therkow which is now housed in the Meermano museum in The Hague.
