Diamond 128mo Thin. All edges gilt.  688  printed pages. Contemporary silver 'IHS' plaquette on upper cover, with full silver hallmarks for London 1900. The maker is CPB, Charles Penny Brown, book mounter & silversmith, Clerkenwell, London EC. All edges gilt over red. Original white endpapers. Contemporary pencil ownership inscription on blank preliminary leaf, dated 1904. Provenance: Dorrit Clegg.  46 x 56 mm. Original light brown calf spine with gilt blocked titling and place with horizontal gilt lines and three Celtic style crosses in gilt. Ivorine boards, with original brass clasp and fittings.
