Printed title-page and 15 blank leaves. Original rose pink silk endleaves and pouches for keeping calling cards. 60 x 95 mm. Full iridescent mother-of-pearl covers, with engraved silver four drop central decoration on frontcover. See OCLC, 889655040 for similar example at Harvard University Library. The use of iridescent mother-of-pearl or nacre was a hallmark of luxury Parisian craftsmanship during this period. It was prized for its lightweight, durable, and lustrous quality.
