32 printed pages. Gold print on cream glossy paper. Calendar printed in blue on white paper. Contains a floral almanac and weather table by Dr. Herschel &c. as well as a calendar. Inner hinge cracked and later repaired with invisible tape. 45 x 68mm. Original cream and silver glossy boards intricate geometric vertical designs in brown and gilt on the covers with scrolling abstract borders. Covers rubbed, particularly on the spine. Howlett and Brimmer were trade printers who specialised in the art of printing with metallic ink, particularly gold. They also published Howlett's Victoria Miniature Almanack & Fashionable Remembrancer and the Queen Alexandra Golden Almanack. Not in Bondy, nor Spielmann, nor Welsh. See Spielmann, 206A and Welsh, 3581 for 1841 edition. Spielmann and Welsh only locate 1841 copies in blue. WorldCat locates zero copies of this edition worldwide.
